OK the JIC coilovers are not made for the B14 :-( Jive turkies! Any way here are my next questions to the B14 peps. Who has the motivational set up? What spring rates are you running? any install isssues? I really want a nuetral car with a good ride. I do not like oversteer. So would a 300 F 200 R give more understeer than say a 300 F 300 R set up? Thanks peps. Joel Slow96R

If you want a good ride 300lb springs are waaay to stiff. If you don't like oversteer, I'm assuming you don't plan on autocrossing / track driving. If you just want a slightly stiffer street cruiser that won't loop on you, I'd go maybe 250f/150r that's not far from stock Integra R, so it's still stiff enough to keep you off the bumpstops if you lower it (you -need- moti's if you want to lower the car.) Also, the slightly higher ratio of front to rear rates should keep stock-like cornering attitude, but without the famous b14 bodyroll.

Of course this is just all my opinion, and you can do with it what you want.

I have Motivational CO on my 98 SER with 300/200. Installation is not an issue but I have squeaky noise coming from the front (maybe it's just me). This is my daily driver and I think the ride is not harsh at all. Handling is good. Much better than the AGX/Eibach setup.

You can do the 250/150 setup but you need to be very careful with spring length and coil binding. Both those springs are only available in the 8-inch and the 10-inch length. That will probably be fine. Also I would not lower the car more then 1.5 inches front and back if that is what you chose. Those are both softer springs then most people run and you don't want to bottom out. In the rear I would defiantly use the motivational perch to essentially lower the car without losing travel. Be very careful when you order the kit. Specify what drop you want when you order and get an agreement to swap the springs if they end up dropping the car to much or coil bind when you raise the car to prevent it from being to low. I had that problem on my b14. Also, the motivational shocks are based on Koni’s. Only the front is shortened. Koni’s I have been told have a smoother ride then the agx’s. If you get to ride in an agx-equipped car with the 300/200 the ride should be better with the Koni’s for comparision sake.
