Here are my questions to the suspension pros. Who has the motivational set up? What spring rates are you running? any install isssues? I really want a nuetral car with a good ride. I do not like oversteer. So would a 300 F 200 R give more understeer than say a 300 F 300 R set up? Thanks peps. I have a 96 200 sx se-R (B14) Joel Slow96R

What kind of driving/racing will you be doing? What swaybars do you have? Any other future plans to the suspension? This is a package that has to be looked at as a package not a bunch of individual items. My .02cents

I have 8" springs front and rear. The front is adjusted almost to the top (about 4-5 turns from the top, and LOTS to the bottom). I would ask for 10" front springs. I have 350 in-lb springs in front and 300 in-lb springs in back. I haven't raced this setup yet to comment on the oversteer/understeer.

mines running 8 incher's fr&rr. 275lbfr/200rr. have oem front swaybar/st rear bar. as far as ride goes....about 1000% better than my old prokits/agx's. handling? i get quite a bit of understeer at the limit. i have to REALLY screw up to get the rear end even close to loose. probably due to the fuggered up toe-in on the rear LOG!

Yes a 300/200 will give more understeer then a 300/300. The 300/200 will give you a good starting point for your car if you are into street driving

I have 350fronts/300rear as well. This combination was advised by GC for my car and its use. It is street driven, and will most likely just stick to that. I think the 300front/200rear combo is better suited for the B13s.

I will be using the car for daily driver 95% of the time.
I love to drag 5%, but I plan on auto X soon. So I want a good suspension from the beggining. Anyone familair with Scott Higashi's set ups? His sounds the most promising. I would love anyone who has his coilovers opinion before I commit to getting them. Thanks :-) Joel slow 96R

Due to the permanent toe in on the back of 95+ SE-Rs, they understeer more than a B13 with independant rear. You should be fine with 300/200.

BTW, listen to Steve's advice. He's got one of the nicest setup B14s I've seen.

I really want to know what you mean by a "good ride" My koni's with 300/200 is firmer then the 95 M3 I drove on friday. It all depends on your perspective. Also, budget is an issue (it always is) what is yours? If you want to talk you can PM me I have lots of ideas. We can do it public also.
