my friend put 16" rota circuit 8's on his civic, and he loves them, my roommate has 17" stage 5's on his camaro and he hasn't had anything bad to say either.... i think the general consensus for rota is that they are an excellent value, the slipstreams are quite light too... hard to find lightweight wheels in that price range... so i would say go for it if you like the way they look.... also i think they're made in the philippines if that matters to you...

I have some 15 slipstreams on my 200sx. They look pretty mean and they are very light. Best bang for the buck as far as wheels are concerned. You could also go with some Konig Helliums. they are lighter that slipstreams with a relatively same price.

They claim they are lighter but I have not heard of anyone who has actually weighed those wheels. If they are lighter then it is about a pound in the 15's from what I have heard. I have a pair of Rota Circuit 8's. Weighed in at an honest 12.5 pounds, the silver color was very nice on the outside, a little dull on the inside. I think they look great. Never heard of people bending the Rota's can't say that for the Helliums because they are new. I spent the money I saved buing Rota's on some Bridgestone SO3's. Great combo.

Did you weigh them on a scale with no tires attached? 10lbs 15 oz is a real slick way of saying 11 pounds. BTW I weighed some Volk TE37 and some SSR Competition. Both are said to weigh 8.5 pounds. Anybody want to guess what they really weighed.

Some Rotas (ROH) are said to be a little on the heavy side but then I have not weighed them. My brother swears by them (He has 16" Relfex on his 325). Thats all he buys for his customers. They are strong as fuck!

Well i did weigh them on a scale prior to installing and yes they were under 11lbs i also weighed the 16inch slipstreams i had also which were obviously heavier because they are larger. Iam glad to hear the rotas are strong as i hear the rotas and konig light weights bend and crack from a lot of people. Supposedly this is due tp there light weight. the newer style rotas are supposedly manufactured in the adr plant now .

AFAIK... the Rotas are made by Konig... If you go to the Konig site they even sell some of the same styles (ex: Sub-Zeros) but from what I saw on the groupbuycenter.com place is that the Rotas come in more sizes and colors than the Konigs... Nice price, too... I saw some 18" Rota Sub-zeros available in gunmetal for $600 shipped for just the rims... wish i had the money at the time!!

I plan on buying the Konig Heliums tomorrow and plan on getting the bronze color. The question I have is what is the finish like? I saw a set of Rotas and they had a dull finish look to them. Is that what the bronze Heliums look like? If they do I will get the silver. Do I need to get the eccentric rings for these? Please let me know asap. Thank you.

Do tell! 9 pounds?? That's pretty crappy advertisement, unless you were about to say lower!

It was right at 10 pounds on the scale at the shop. I am going again tommorow and double check. People lie about weight all the time.

I have konig rims and I cracked one. They are not even that light either. I have a friend that has the heliums and he had one crack. We live in upstate ny and the roads are pretty bad...especially near albany. However, I think a lot has to do with the 40 profile tires we both had on the rims. But I have also heard bad things about konig...and not anything bad about Rotas. either konig is getting cheap (even though they are typically expensive) or there is something wrong with their rims. Cost me 250 bucks (half the cost of cams) to get the rim fixed because they dont make it anymore. It sucked for me and I will never get a Konig again. However Rotas in 15 are worth it. Never met anyone that complained about them. Stay away from Konig. I recommend it. Are you interested in some 16" Konig V-Racing rims? COme on..you know you want them. perfect shape...now at least. I'll trade ya for some rotas. ;)
