I just changed my radiator fluid and in the FSM it says there's a bolt to release all the air that was let into the radiator...anybody know where it is? pics maybe? i have a B15 SE..Thank You once again!:biggthump

ok few things...first the bolt is on the thermostat housing (top right bolt). now you seem somewhat new so the thermostat housing is the one that the bottom hose from the radiator goes into. what you have to do is start the car...remove/loosen the bolt....wiat till it starts pissing coolant all over the place without interruption. replace bolt. job done. or you can just remove the rad cap and let the car idle for 1/2 hour or so. this is called ***bleeding the coolant system*** a simple search would have shown about a million how to's for this type of thing. good luck and have fun

Look for the highest point in the cooling system (including the heater lines) - that's where it's likely to be. You can probably bleed the air by jacking the front end up and bleeding it from the radiator cap, also.

There is also a bolt on the front (looking in from the bumper) of the engine. It is down and to the left of the exhaust manifold. IIRC, the fsm states you should:

Remove the thermo bleed bolt and this bolt
Fill until coolant bleeds form thermo hole
Replace thermo bolt
Fill until coolant bleeds from front hole
Replace front bolt

right on ! it works almost everytime .... it gets alittle more specialized after that.

On the older cars there is also a bleed on the top heater hose on the firewall. I think it's a 91-92 only thing though since my 93 doesn't have it.
