Ok I have two issues that I would like to ask some feedback on:
1) I was originally going to get the KYB/AGX shocks however.... On Friday I was at a shop that my friend owns and he told me that he has a customer that bought set of KYB/GR2's for his 97 Sentra however they sold the car before installing them. He told me that he can get the guy to sell them to me for $150 (CDN bout $133 USD) for all 4. I am wondering if I should jump on this deal or get the AGX's whenever I eventually can pay the $400 USD price tag. Is it really gonna make that much of a difference for a car that is a daily driver and probably will only see a track 2 times a year (if at that).
2) On my maxima I had B+G sport suspension. They were the best springs that I ever drove with. I even had people with the same Maxima tell me that the springs had a better ride quality than their Eibachs so when I got the 200 I naturally wanted to get these for her however my dilemma is this... In most application guides (B+G, Eibach) it only states the same drop for the front as the rear and when I called 2 separate suppliers of B+G they told me two different answers. One said that they already take into account the higher front and another said that they don't. Any thoughts on this and is there anyone that has run B+G sport suspension?
Thanks all...

Your best bang for buck suspension setting is a set of Tein Basic Coilovers!! You can find it at 740.00$ US on ebay, and this setup definitly beat any combo with the crappy KYB AGX shocks!!!

Ryan man....I told you to wait for the AGX's! LOL
You still have yet to take a ride in my NX2000 with the AGX's....the GR-2 are mostly stock replacements.

Well it would seem that the AGX's are the unanimus decision lol.... ok so I won't buy the GR2's and if I could get some assistance from anyone that has paid less that $400 USD for the AGX's that would be great! However that still leaves me with the B+G question. I really want to get these springs (took a ride in my old Maxima on the weekend) but am hoping that someone has had experience with the ride height of the B+G's.
Ryan, for sure I still have to meet up with you guys for a meet but this weekend was friggin crazy for Caribana so hopefully I can attend a meet this upcoming weekend/week. Hey, maybe we can get some more members to meet up.

I have B&G's. I've just gotta get them on. Should be real soon. They lower the car about 1.5 inches. about the same as sportlines.

Honestly Bro, I would save the extra and go with the Tein Basic's.
I was going down the road your on and realized just before ordering, that if i get these AGX's I'll be riding bumb stops for US$400.00 bucks.
The Teins have a shortened shock body to accomodate the lack of travel that the B14 is known for. you'll get about the same damper in the shocks as you would out of the AGX's and the spring and shock will be a perfect match. you can even order them with the spring rate that you want, I beleive.

Tein Basics
TEIN Type BASIC damper is for the driver that is seeking high performance with a reasonable price. Compared to the "sleeve type" coil over, the Type Basic has a more exclusive set up for a better balance of suspension travel and damping force. Ride height adjustable.
Contents of damper kit:
Height Adjustable shock absorber x4, Main spring x4
Lower spring seat x4, Seat lock x4, Thrust washer x4
Bump rubber x4, Dust cover x4
Hook spanner x2, Instruction manual
$710+shipping
this is one of the best prices you'll get the Teins for.
He is a forum member also, cool guy very helpful. i beleive he's in Vegas now till September hit him a PM and see whats up.
KYB AGX roughly US$400.00
B+G Springs Roughly US$ 269.00
Tein Basic US$710.00 come in one package good to go. it your call, just offering my advice.

You still desperately need this thread my friend:
http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=149841
GR2's = stock replacement. Duh. You'd already know this with a thorough search.
AGX + Hyperco (or Hypercoil, everyone calls them Hyperco's).
OR....
Shortened Koni struts + Hyperco.
These are the only two (2) conventional spring strut combos you should ever consider.
All other conventional springs for our cars suck ass. Too low and too soft. End of discussion. Folks that tell you differently are flat-out ignorant. B&G's will be a mistake you will regret.
You did a half-assed search at best. Glad you at least did that much, but not nearly enough to be starting a brand new, redundant, played out, over discussed, thread.
Good luck.

I would also sugested searching on nissanforum's suspension and brake section, they have lots of good information there. anything to do with B14's suspension setups has been discussed there. http://www.nissanforums.com/suspension-brakes/
