I live in the Minneapolis area, this is a 93 nx2000. I am not the original owner, but i have had it for 2 years now. the car has about 110k. Original motor, but the tranny is not. the tranny has about the same mileage as the motor. The tranny was replaced w/in a month. The tranny has no 5th gear pop out. The car has power doors, and power locks. And the car does have cruise controle. The car does not have AC, i was forced to take it out a while back.

The exterior is in pretty good shape. it does have some problems. the paint is still good, there is very little rust on the entire car. there are only a few small dents and scratches. The biggest issue would be the front end. the hood has some scrapes across it and the front bumper is down on the driver side corner. this was from the previous ownere. the bumper is solid and not smashed, but it just leaves a little space between the bumper and hood, on that corner. it never bugged me enough to fix it. The car has nice gunmetal motegi Mr7's which look nice on a black car. The car does have full exhaust. Complete w/ pacesetter headers, 2.25 exhaust (anything bigger is a waste on a NA motor) and a 60 series flowmaster muffler.

The interior is in good shape. just a few scraches toward the back. The car still has the origial floor matts. This car also comes w/ a very nice deck. It is a Eclipse CD5425. There is also a small tear in the fabric of the driver side seat. but it is along a seam and could easily be mended. The t-tops are in decent condition, and still have the removable sun covers and leather zip bags. The only leak under hard hard rain, but what t-tops dont? The biggest issue w/ the interior would be the speedometer. if you know anything about this car and the transmisions, you know they have two kinds, electrical and mechanical (spedo cable). the origianl was electrial, the new one is mechanical. but w/ a junk jard run this could be fixed. So as of right now the car does not have a speedometer, or a odometer.

But this does have a lot of goodies and parts to list that hopefully make it worth your while...

15 inch Motegi MR7's Gun Metal
new Fuzion ZRI's
ACT complete clutch/pressure plate package, stage two (it really really grabs, almost too good)
Pacesetter Header
2.25 pipe
Flowmaster 60 series
Eclipse CD5425 deck
Front and rear Strut Tower bars
Advanced timing (to what degree i dont know...not enough to get out of low oct. gas)
All new front brakes (calipers/rotars/pads)
Rear brakes (Rotars and pads)
Starter
Alternator
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug wires
K&N Air Filter
Optima Blue top Batt.

The car runs good, doesnt burn any oil and still gets good gas mileage. I am asking 3500 obo. And if you have issues w/ the car, or the price, they can be worked out. i just did not want to do anymore work on the car unless i had to. i am busy and maybe someone enjoy's doing a little work.

also, for the right person, i have a very nice parts car, another 93 nx2000. the car is totalled due to hail damage. but the car is still in good running condition. the car has 180k, motor 140k. the tranny is rebuilt but does have 5th ger pop out. this is a friends car. he worked at a parts store and put a lot of new parts into it recently. here is the list...axles, clutch, front brakes, front tires, it has J-spec cams, exhaust from the manifold back, radiator, starter and all the filters. because of the hail damage, the t-tops are smashed as are the front windshield and back window. the car is littered w/ dents. so the car visually the exterior looks bad, but the car is loaded w/ new parts so it is well worth the asking price. this car is going for 1500 obo.

Honestly, man I was excited when I saw an NX in my neck of the woods, but $3800 is way too much. I couldn't see someone paying $3800 for that and the parts car.

My advice is to get rid of the subs, the hack of a rear strut bar and replace the sway bar, then try it for $1750.

BUMP, becuase I think I'm being harsh without it.

First things first, the fact that you dont see nx's and such around this area raises its value in the sense that someone is willing to pay more because they might not run by it again. and as for your advice, i dont know what subs your talking about, is that slang for something? *** i dont have a sound system in my car....and if someone wanted me to remove the rear strut bar as part of the deal, i would do it, but honestly im not going to until told to, *** it is not a hack job, and it does the job rather nicely. so dont talk about things you dont know. you dont know who my friends are. they are very into road rally, and know what they are doing. as for the sway bar, that is a quick and cheap way to improve turn in on the car, you can call me crazy, but this to has been proven...and even if someone wanted it, i still have it, so yes i could put it back in. and lastly, your one crazy man if you think the car and the parts car totall would only be 1750... ive done the research and know my car in good condition is worth about 4grand. i know its not mint, but its got a few aftermarket parts that put it above stock, its a very fun respectable car. 3800 might be a bit high but thats why i put "OBO" after it. incase you didnt know that means OR BEST OFFER. of course one will put it up high, thats how you go about selling a car. you dont know how far down i would be willing to go. sorry if im being a little critical, but i dont believe its right for someone who doesnt know anything about my car or my background to talk about them. so if anyone has some constructive criticism...lets hear, it, but seriously, enough of this "know it all" mentality. im just a nice guy trying to sell a car. if anyone is from the area, they know how hard they are to come by, so keep that in mind. and also, i am willing to go down w/ my price, and talk about different parts on the car. again, im sorry about being a little crule or harsh, but im serious w/ this, and i dont have the time for ppl who arent serious.

Oh, I hear that man, but when I see other threads selling good condition S14s for $3500 I question your price gauging for a minnesota NX that has been though a minnesota life. Harsh winters etc.
But as for subs: http://www.geocities.com/blacknx2000/strutbar.jpg

and I WAS interested, really inyterested in fact, I love NXs and Black is IMO the best color they came in (Electric blue a close second).

as for 1750, that's for the one that works, the parts car would be a good for a grand on the side. That's pointless to argue though, I'd offer 1800

well i got rid of the subs a while back, that page is pretty old, i havent been on there for a long time, and i know some of the stuff looks kinda crapy, but i trust you, there was a lot of thought and knowledge put into things like that rear strut bar, dont go off the looks. sure its not adjustable, but if your a guy just looking for a car thats been tuned up a bit, thats a little more fun than stock its a good car for you, but if your looking for something to really race w/ i agree it would be a pretty crappy set up. as for the price, maybe i was wrong to look under the suggested retail value part of kelly blue book, but thats where i came up w/ the 3800...i still think i could get more than 2 grand. w/ the full exhaust and awesome clutch that was not cheap at all, and w/ the deck and a bunch of new parts ive put into it w/in the past year, im pretty sure i could get more than 2. i failed to mention it, but it does have a new alt. starter, both front axles, front brakes (calipers/rotors/pads) and rear brakes too, this car has to be worth more than 2 grand. but who knows, maybe it doesnt happen, maybe eventually i will have to consider it....i wouldnt mind some other ppls input on this, tell me if im wrong.

I'll tell ya man you've got a good car on your hands that needs some hardcore TLC. I wish I had the kind of time/funds/negotation skills to pick up something like that, the miles are a good buy, maybe throw some new pics and detail the description better, like with paragraphs and some bolding and such?

Well you never get the money back that you put into the car in aftermarket parts. Atleast not the full amount.

exactly. Look to get about half the price, if that, of the cost of the parts.

ok well this is all true, i could settle for half the price of the parts and such. i paid 4 k for my car when i got it w/ around 75k on it. and ive put on a few miles, but ive put in a lot of things that i thought most ppl would like. if you think about it, its got a lot of things that raise the value. new tires, nice rims, nice deck, great clutch and exhaust, that alone is well over a grand still cut in half. but its silly for me to keep talking about what i think its worth, and what other ppl think its worth, *** i know ppl are ***** pay what they want. and i know in the end i will have to settle for something way less. i know my car is worth more and 2 grand especially w/ all the new parts and such. i would settle on 3 grand, and thats a lot less than i originaly asked. and just to make things easier to understand, i redid my original post.
