Ok. I know this sounds like a follw up on another post I have going, but I have a relevant question.
I earlier stated that I could get a BBdet installed in my classic for about 3500 with a bunch of goodies. They have reconsidered their offer and recalculated my estimate to about 5k. Thats without the tranny, or gauges, or anything for that matter. They went from 1250 for engine and tranny, to a bit over 2k for engine alone.
I anyone is still interested in the name of the shop, it is in Louisville and the name is Tachyon Performance.
Next question. I am still in the market for a det. Is it worth it to buy one and have the same shop do an install without a warranty, or pay the extra money for a warranty? Thanks for the tips.
