Hey Guys,

I was thinking about throwing some Eibach Pro Springs in my 91 NX2000 to drop it a bit but I had some questions that I was hoping you guys could answer. I've never changed suspension on a car. The Pro's will drop my ride about 1.4" so i'm wondering, can I get away with using stock struts on that drop or do you guys think that the extra stress will kill them pretty fast? If not, has anyone dropped their NX about this height? I was wondering if the ride is really harsh or not too bad. I don't really have the money for a good coilover set or any sort of dampening adjustments so i'll have to live with what the Pro's give me. Thanks a lot guys.

You're going to get too much drop - 1" is about the most you should go for. Do not put high end springs on with old worn out struts.
Search (this button will gain you info and friends), read, learn and save your money until you can afford a proper setup. Welcome to the forum.

Okay..at least you're honest.

Leave it stock until you can afford a respectable setup.

Search "hyperco" "progress" "bits and pieces" or "suspensions" "springs" "sway bars" etc. It's all been discussed a bizillion times what works and what doesn't.

im still running with stock springs on my agx's even though my cg are sitting right next to me. i would suggest getting a whole new setup if you want to drop it. thats what i aim to do.

Honestly, I spent a good deal of $ on a Hyperco Gen 2/KYB AGX setup before the Progress Coilover setup became available. And now I wished I was able to get that coilover set, but I already spent too much $ on my suspension.

My advice is to save the dough and get the progress coilovers. It's so worth it!
