Whenever my car is around 2500 to 3000 rpms i hear this vibration sound coming from the engine, i was wondering what this could be?? could it be a motor mount?? if anyone has any clues, i would appreciate it. thanks in advance..

It wouldn't hurt to check the motor mounts. especially the front and rear ones. I had that problem when one of my motor mount bolts broke and I also had problems shifting gears.
Good luck,

I am experiencing the same problem. My Dad's friend who is a mechanic who has been stumped on what it is asked another mechanic what he thought it might be, and he said it may be a collapsed motor mount and the engine may be leaning on the frame of the car and vibrating. My Dad's friend is working on my car in May, so I'll let you know what it turned out to be (if he finds the problem).

ive got the same problem with my nx2k, i just bought and ithe passenger side motor mount is shot so im gonna have that replaced and see if that helps. I think its the motor mount *** the vibration increases dramatically when slowing down which would mean to me that the engine is moving around and touching the chassis.

My SE-R is doing the same exact thing. I'm having the motor mounts looked at soon.
