I have a question for you guys. I will buy an SR20DE in a couple of weeks and I want to turbo it. First I want to rebuild the engine. So do you guys think that I should change the internals (lower compression pistons and rods) Or it doesn't really matter. I want to be able to play with the boost.
My goal is 250 to 300 HP.

yeah, I heard that the compression on the sr20de really limits the amount of boost you can apply. If you want to up the boost, I'd definately lower the compression. I may have to do the same on my engine if I ever find a decent kit to put on it.

People have ran 24 psi with 9.5:1 compression with water injection and race gas.

Is that the stock compression ratio?? I haven't look for the information yet.

Yes, that is stock compression. Maybe you should buy a BB SR20DET, it already has the compression lowered and it has oil squirters and some other goodies for turbo.

I love the oil squirters! :)
