Do you have to have your ECU reprogrammed so it will idle good, or can you use the standard JWT BB DET ECU?

Good, but might want to invest in some JWT cam gears.

actualy i believe the consensus is that the s4's dont live too happily with a turbo. but the s3's do. or get some cam gears and retard the stock cams some. atleast that was the last post to the list from Mike i remember said.

No. S4's work great with turbo. Ask Andreas Miko. With any of these cams, you want to reduce the overlap by retarding the intake cam and advancing the exhaust cam. Advancing the exhaust cam will help you spool faster too.

yeah, I have the adj cam gears from JWT with the BB DET, JWT said to set the cam gears 2- intake and 2 + exhaust. said it would keep temps down to.

I could have sworn that I read somewhere that the JWT cam gears are adjustable only in 2.5deg increments?
