I made a reference to the MAF rotation being a free mod, and got so many PM's and e-mails I thought I'd post a new thread about it.

Basically all you do is loosen your intake and rotate the MAF 180 degrees, so that the electrical connection is on the opposite side than it was before.

This has been dynoed to produced slightly more torque, because in the stock position the intake air flow has to make a sharper turn. When it is rotated the air flows more smoothly. I really doubt anyone can feel a difference SOTP, but I believe it made 2 or 3 lbs of torque, and hey it's free.

This works w/ the stock airbox, CAI or both?

do we have pictures of how the MAF is positioned, anyone?

Yes it works with any intake you have.

Well, i just did it, and my butt dyno says it feels smooth....and the butt dyno never lies... :-)
