Alright most of you know the deal, if not read here http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=164727 So i dropped the tranny and inspected everything...disc was on right....plate was checked and verified part number. Relubed shaft and checked throw out bearing....moved fine and didnt seem bent to the eye. So i put it back on and have a hell of time hooking back the rear mount but ****** its all on...shifter seems to go in a lil bit but hard to get in reverse. Used 2 brass reducers on a sr20 oem cable and started the wheel all the way at the bottom and worked up.. Got it to the point were the pedal will not go all the way to the floor. So i started the car...first thing i noticed was that i put it in gear now while the car was running!?!?!??? So i took it out it...im like wtf, so i put the clutch in and try to put it in first and it wont go. So i put it in neutral and this timewith the clutch not being pressed i put it in first and pressed in the clutch and the car jumped.....now i think that assbackwards ....wtf is going on here??? the car was idling at 800-900 roughly so it seems everythings a go just cant get it in gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated!:biggthump

I know you checked to tob but it sounds to me like it may have come off the fork. Did you check the little guide pins on the fork that the tob sits on? I busted mine in my 98 and the clutch was acting all wacky because of it.

That’s about all I can think of.
