Lets say I can get an SR20DET GTi-R that was droped.
Only the valve cover is cracked. For 1200$ (canadian funny money) :)

I would basicaly have :

GTi-R Intercooler
Garret T-28 Turbo
370cc Injectors
Fuel Rail
Downpipe (not sure)
GTi-R Manifold
Pistons (might not need them)

Id need :
JWT computer
Boost controler (id like one ya know)
Clutch (maybe) stock B15 PP is good enough I think.
Custom Piping

-Could I use the individual Throttle body injection ?
-Is there an OEM BOV ?
-I already have a 2.25" custom Mandrel Mid-pipe, it should be enough
to start with right ?

What do you think about this ?
If the shop still has this engine, Im sure I can bargain the guy even lower
thna 1200$.

Trav & JC your input would be appreciated guys.

Thanks

1. GTir has 444cc Injectors.

2. You will need a better clutch.

3. I wouldn't recommend higher than stock boost on 2.25 piping.

4. I believe the wiring is more than just dropping in a JWT ECU. (not sure on this)

I know all about the wiring.
thats not a problem.
The ECU is all I need to purchase though with harness.

444cc is cool, I forgot about that.

Stock boost is all I want for now

Chris...
The clutch disc is actually ok. You need to upgrade to a better pressure plate. If you get the JWT pressre plate it will hold about 250 hp and 210lb ft. of TQ. This should be sufficient and you can always upgrade the disc later on. I wouldn't try to fool with the individual throttle bodies. It's too hard to tune I hear. The 444's would be nice to have! I wish I had them... If you can get that motor, I have a spare valve cover I'm willing to cough up. As far as the ECU..I have all the documentation for that. You will need a B14 harness. Can be 1.6 or 2.0...doesn't matter. You will also need a B14 02 sensor. Your 2.5" should be sufficient for stock boost levels. You don't need to fool with the pistons..they're good for pretty much whatever you throw at them. Get a set of rod bearings just to be safe though. You'll have to cross reference the numbers stamped on the crank counterweight to the ones on the bottom of the block. When it comes down to that, give me the numbers and I'll tell you what grade you'll need to order. I'm sure there's more that I'm forgeting...Hit me up on AOL IM...EetLessChikin..is my screen name..

Just to clarify. (I already told trav this, but its for others that are reading)

I double checked again, and I can get the GTi-R engine with cracked valve cover (also has bend gears) for 1000$ canadian.

Thats a GTi-R for 640$ USD.

My intentions are to part it out :
Turbo T-28
Manifold
injectors
fuel rail
downpipe
etc...

And slap all that stuff on my B15 Roller Rocker SR20DE.
