Has anyone ever tried the EZ Chill charge kit?
I saw it at pepboys, it converts your R12 to 134a.
How do you even know what you already are using?

If you are not sure if you have R12 or R134a, you are better off taking the car to a shop.

I used it on our G20 and it worked great.

r12 is a male fitting and r134 (not sure where r124 came from...) is a female fitting. If that doesn't make sense, the r12 would be the bolt and the r134 would be the nut.
what year is your car? i think anything pre 1994 is r12.

if it has been converted to r134 from r12 from a previous owner then there should be a blue sticker under the hood saying that the vehicle has converted from r12 to r134

What year is your car bud. I thought I already went over this with you!
If its 98 like your profile says...then its definatly R134.
Also I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself *** if you overcharge it or undercharge it, it won't work properly.

Yeah, No you did . This was more about the ez chill thing and before you had told me that pre 94 used r12 I was asking that question here. Yes I have a 98'
If you have a brand new condensor would you just need the r134 or the oil too?
Thanks everyone - Julien
