Just a quick question, what tires does everyone use. All season or performance only, and what are brands do u think are good. I am in the market now to buy some. Has ne one tried the Kumho AST and are they any good:biggthump

Never tried those. I had a set of Kumho 712s, and barely got 10k miles out of them, I've never gone back to Kumho tires since. They are cheaper, but I'm sure after you add in shipping, you'll pay about the same as the Falkens.

Ive had 3 sets of tires on my car.....

Yokohama AVS ES100 (V rated) $75.73 each
Fuzion ZRi (W rated) $57.97 each
Nitto NT450 "Extreme" <------ Extremely ghey :rofl: dunno the price on these
All were 205/50/15 and on B14 SE-R rims

The Nitto's I have on now and they SUCK!! dont get these stay away... Dry = Suck Wet = Suck more

The ZRi's were great in the dry but they were kind of shaky in the rain. Better dry traction from a stop than the ES100's. A bit iffy in the twisties Dry = Great / Wet = Ok Great tire for the price.

The Yoko's are insane in the wet.... I-95 plus heavy rain and these things kept traction while all the other kept slowing down because they were scared :rofl:
Dry = Slightly better than the ZRi's / Wet = Incredible



These are my OPINIONS though so YMMV.
My next tires are the Falken Azenis or the ES100's again

im running kuhmo ecsta 711 and f-IN love em...205/50's.......good all season performance tires..........but my next set it those azenis 615's................o yesssss
