I went through this too, I used a combo of service manuals and haynes manuals and came to the conclusion that allot of the wires just aren't there..... sooooo I'd try to find the dash harness for a se-r also.... I did... if not I had some wiring info but not sure if its right.

Haven't put it in yet but it will... I got the whole harness out of a SE-R from JGYcustoms.com, it goes from the headlights to the tails lol... so somewhere inbetween it should work out.

I put a 91 SR20 engine in my 91 GA16 recently. I bought the whole 91 SR20 in running condition and found alot of differences if you have any specific questions let me know.

The 1.6 speedo cable will work for the sr20, you don't need the entire car harness just the motor and Alt..It's only two connections in the car; one for the ECU and one on the frame going to the dash(If I remeber correct).

This was done in mine as well. I believe there were only like 2 wires. I do remember the one to power the ecu but I'm not sure of the others. My friends did my swap while I was at work 1 night.

I studied the actual harnesses and the FSM and I saw a lot of wiring/plug differences.... All I know is that I wouldn't have attempted to use the GA harness without sending it to SR20development - and I never got a price from them.

Just get an Sr harness, you could get one for about 50-70 bucks at a salvage yard.

It's been a while but I believe all I did was swap my old Ga plug onto the Sr harness. I will look at it to see what I did and send you a PM.
