What I'd like to know is where I should go from here...

Suggestions please for either the O2 Induction manifold or bigger turbo i.e. GT2871R or GT3071R.

Cheers

Take out the turbosmart boost controller and switch for a better one.

AVC-R for a good traction
Profec for a easy use
ETC....

You are near the maximum power of the Disco, so a bigger turbo would be the route...then an O2 induction manifold with the TB that you already have should be good to kill anyone on the track !

BTW, you have a real nice projet !!! I always dream to put a SR20DE in the back of a Micra (older one..like 1988)

sc61 in a t04s housing w/ bigger fuel injectors, an intercooler that willl handle it.

I'd go with the GT3071R and if you are able to afford it, O2 Induction manifold

Weren't you having horrible traction issues before?

C1 camshafts

I'm gonna take a guess that he would want to keep the turbo into the T2 flanged family for minimum modification for piping, DP, lines etc etc. Personally I would get the 2871, O2 mani., and seeing as you already have springs and retainers get some C1's. Sell your old setup to help pay for the new setup.

Bigger turbo..... I think I'd skip the 2871 and go straight to the GT30 series since you're looking for big power. The spool up penalty with the GT30 shouldn't be too bad compared to the 2871.

I'd say go with the gt3071r also.

Yes, I still am, but I'm working on it...i.e. bigger tires and proper suspension!

Do you think that there will be much to gain with the O2 manifold with my setup as it stands or is the turbo simply not going to flow anymore air.

I may make the same power but with less boost pressure right???

Yup, that's my thought on it. That turbo is pretty much doing as much as it can. Adding the manifold will not really increase your peak power, just reduce the boost pressure required. I think at least...

Hey bro...I've seen vids of your car and freekin' love that thing. You do seem to be pushing the limits of the mighty Disco P"(I run the 1 in my 123 mph trapping SE-R) but i did notice something that seems to be getting glanced over.I dont see a listing on your mods for an external wastegate conversion.I have seen as much as 17-20whp by ditching the internal 1 .though ,at your current power level, you'll make a little less. You should ,however,be able to get closer to 400whp.

Just to let you all know guys...my power & torque are measured at the crankshaft, NOT WHEELS, if that helps at all!

Damn...Knowing that, you can get a lot more out of your car.I am currently making in the low 350whp range @ 16psi w/the internal gate.I'm switching to external next because of the gains i've gotten on customer cars.

I would go... o2 intake manifold....gt30r 0.63 that means its whole new setup..... if you wont to keep the manifold just the the gt3071r ...
