I called Suspension Restorations today to order my ES bushing set and motor mounts and he said that they had a fire at the ES fatory. Is this news to anyone else, or am I just living a sheltered life?

Yes, I heard that too. I ordered some steering rack bushings from Courtesy a few weeks ago an they told me that too. I guess I have to sell my ES rear swaybar bushings for a lot more money than I paid for them now! HAHAHA!

You can still get the Place Racing mounts.

The Place Racing ones are also shitty unless they have revised them. People had issues with them falling out and PR not honoring the lifetime warranty. Hopefully they fixed those problems.

OK, wasn't aware of that. I do know the Place mounts are supposed to be overly harsh.

I have the ES mounts and I love them.

No wonder I ordered the motor mounts in February and STILL haven't gotten them. Any idea how long it will be till they are back online and shipping parts?

Yeah, I heard about this when I called suspension.com last week (or two). Well I got my motor mount inserts and shifter bushing... I tried putting in one of the motor mount inserts, it was such a b*$%# .... oh well, I'll try it again later.

Yeah, the ES MM's are a BITCH. Well, only the rear crossmember one is. I hate it. But, I love them once they are in.

Woo Hoo, I called Courtesy Parts as a last resort today. I didnt want to order from them because they were much more expensive, but I figured that if anyone had any in stock, they would. I was right, so I ordered my MM and Torque inserts from them but I am going to get the Hyper-flex kit elsewhere. If ya need em get em while ya can! ;)

Yeah, the rear crossmember was the one I was trying to install (since I had to drop the crossmember to take off the shifter bushing  )... I think next time I attempt it I'm going to get some help.

A trick is to take the crossmember completely off and work on the rear mount first. That helps. Then use a jack to maneuver it around. Also, you know that pic in your sig? Can you please post a bigger version of it? Thanks.

You're talking about my pic? If you are, you can see all of them here: http://www.latinominds.com/~domiguy/Turbo/ . And I did take the crossmember off and use a jack to manuver it, but it was already dark out, and I was soaking wet (it really rained while I was working) and the bolt didn't want to go in on the other side... next time I'll try to have some help so they can help me out, telling me where to manuver it.

shit, I just shaved mine down until it would fit up in there. I used sandpaper and made it into a v shape and wedged it in there.

that is shitty about the fire. I ordered steering rack bushings and torque mounts like 3 months ago and no sign of them. I ordered a master set on wednesday and got it on friday. wierd, huh?
