I don't know if the platinum gets too hot thing is the same for boost. I change my plugs often and would rather run coppers than platinums. The coppers being $1.50/piece helps too. Jay Hassinger used to run Coppers on his former turbo car. The BKR7E is a colder heat range than the stock one. Helps with detonation. I know a lot of the AZ turbo guys run the copper plugs too. I ran my times in my sig with the BKR7E's so you can come up with your own conclusions.
