i bought it with the b16 already in it then i pulled the sr16ve that was in it and put the sr20ve in, so it fit *** fine when i did the swap but i dont know if the guy before me had to cut some shit out to make it fit or what

You'll pretty much have to go custom made stuff for the ITB setup. Not sure, but I think JUN sells an 11lb flywheel. I know Fidanza only has the 9lb. And for a header, no one makes a 3" secondary. HS did, but I'm pretty sure they're out of business already. So you'll either have to get a Fuji, or an ssac header off ebay, and make a 3" secondary.

Don't forget the standalone to run the map sensor. Unless you build a Plenum for the ITBS and run it a MAF. Haven't seen it done on a SR20VE yet.

I can't go into to much detail about them but I can tell you they are made from modified Suzuki Hayabusa ITB's with a CNC’d aluminum flange and to run them with out a plenum they will need stand alone a/f management.

Perhaps the owner of this beautiful part will see this post and add some info. I think he mentioned if there was enough interest the parts (flange and some other bits) they could be tooled for production baring the purchaser supplied the ITB’s.

Having ITB's on my VE Pulsar, I would say that if you drive your car on the street then stick with the regular VE plenum. They are tuned for a specific hi-rpm rev range which means you lose torque at low rpm. I have the Tomei stroker crank which helps to prevent this lack of low rpm torque.

Personally, I like it on my car but on a regular SR20VE it would make the low lobe feel like a GA16DE. Also, getting cams with enough airflow to take advantage of the ITB's is a problem. Cool to have them for the wank factor but are you REALLY going to need them?
