I had that on my web page, but the sr20de.org site is down, and that's where it was. I have a copy of it at home, and I'll email it to you tonight.

Would this all be easier to do with the engine out. I am getting a VE and could wait until it goes in.

How much of a difference does this bushing make?

Is it required to remove the cross member?

Not really, but the tranny is very close to the driver's side bracket. If you can lower the tranny a little, it makes it easier. Others have done this without lowering th etranny, and they said it was a big pain. I think it took me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to install, but this was with fighting with the driver's side bushing. Now that I know about the indention that is needed, I could knock them out in about 1 hour.

You don't have to remove the tranny, you don't have to remover the cross member, and you don't have to drop the engine. You just need to have long arms to reach the driver's side bushing from the top.

Just remember to remove both bushings and replace them at the same time before you tighten down either of the brackets. This will allow for more movement in the rack so you don't have to struggle too much with wrapping the driver's side bushing into place.

Now that I know about the indention that is needed, I could knock them out in about 1 hour.

Anyone know what he means by this? where this indention goes?
