ok, heres the deal, my engine doenst want to start after a ten minute shut down. it'll crank over, but wont catch. it WILL start after a 5 minute shut down, but not ten, i've timed it. whats the deal. its been like then ever since i installed it and is getting on my nervers. i cant figure it out. i'll crank and crank and crank and crank for like 5 more minutes before it will being to start, even then, it feels like its going to die and blueish smoke comes out of my exhaust and the exhaust note sounds "empty."

Have you checked for any leaking injectors?
(W/the 5 min start, not enough leaking fuel to flood engine).
W/the blueish smoke-possible gas washing out the cylinders, oil seepage into combustion chamber at start up getting burnt.
W/the no power after it starts, its slowly building compression back after the gas washout- smell the dipstick to confirm gas in oil.
If injectors are ok, you might want to double check your base idle also.
Its possible!

About the color who knows
Black-excessively rich, Blue-oil burning
The best way to check is to pull the rail(leave inj.s mounted, disconn. inj connections), pressurize the fuel system- should be no fuel
Gas in the oil-sure sign of a flooding condition.
