considering i have a JWT 50shot, how do you burnout and launch with MT slicks? do I burnout in 1st or 2nd gear? what rpm do i launch from? 5000, 5500, 6000? should i feather the clutch just a LITTLE bit or do i just dump it? what are you guys running (e.t./trap speed) and how much nitrous are you spraying with slicks(not street tires or drag radials)? sorry for the newbie questions.

Good questions... I know I do my burnout in 1st... I've tried all those launches, too... I'm having grief with my drag radials, though...

With BFG Drag Radials, I dump at 4,000 and hit WOT. The car barely spins, and just takes off. this is with 100 shot spraying in 1st

I use to use the Nitto 225/50 16" drag radials, I now use M/T 22x8x15 with total success. I've dropped my 60ft down from 2.19 to 2.01 and no more wheel hop. I use the Zex 65 shot in my 01 SE with no available motor mounts. I've run my best of 14.07@96.43mph and will be going to the 75 shot with a higher launch 3500-4500.
I've got these slicks instock for $150Ea. shipped.

Those slicks aren't ET streets are they? I wouldn't mind a pair of street slicks to use.

Try launching at 5,000-5,500rpm and see what happens to your ET. :D

Remember that us B15 boys have a rev limiter at 6400rpm. A 5000-5500 launch with any spin would show me the rev limiter real fast. I pulled a 2.11 with a 3500 launch with about 7ft of spinning. You have to really get use to these things with heat, the fluid diffs we have, small burn out, big burn out etc.
