I removed my wires and plugs today for some OEM plugs (BKR6E-11 regapped back to .32) and OEM wires. The old plugs look at at the tip area. It just looks like normal wear marks, except the thread area and a littel above has oil on it. My question is why is that?

Oh yeah as for the car after the replacement. Power delivery is muchs moother, but it still hesitate a little bit, but i am hoping it will all be good after ia djust the valves, redo the cap and rotor and the timing

Dont forget that fuel filter!!!

As far as the oil by the thread, maybe some oil seeped thru the rubber O-gaskets for the plugs on the Valve cover. I had that problem when I first got my car. Have you checked your EGR/BPT disks? Find the BPT and stick your finger underneath it. Push up on it. It should feel like a plunger. It should come back down. If not then you might have to do some BPT/EGR maintenance.
Have you checked out www.se-r.net ?
Lots of write ups in there about the EGR/BPT.
Dont get lost in there though. Its not directory friendly.

Eh. you can't adjust the valves. Also, you probably just have oil in your spark plug wells because you need to replace those 4 spark plug valve cover gaskets.

Moral of the story, dont use bosch regular plugs...

Well the car is still at the dealer, waiting for them tos tart working on it so i can determine how much i will get rape by :(

I replaced the fuel filter thismroning, thje old filter looked okay, but i dont think it is OEM. I put in an OEM one on there. I think the misfires i ahd was from the stupid autoparts store wire

A similar thing happened to me, while checking the gap on my plugs. Just in the plug well in the 2nd cylinder. There was some oil at the base of the threads.
It doesn't seem serious. I thought it might be some sort of gasket. Can it wait a few weeks/ track days? I'd rather fix it, when I can get some cams, or at least be in there for a good reason :D
