Hey guys, just took the 94 G20 to the dealer. They told me the valves are all stuck, both camshafts are bad and it would cost over 2500 to fix everything :( WHat do i do? I thought it was a simple valves adjustment and now they are telling me its a 2500 job!! What can i do?

seriously though.. i would take it for another inspection somewhere else maybe another dealer but dont tell them what the first dealer told you

Just get yourself a JDM DE, they are right around $500 or so. You'll save yourself a lot of money.

Where can i get one for 500? I dont need performance, i just want it to be reliable. It's gf's car. I already have a car to play with

I just located a set of head off a 96 G20 for 150. I might get it. Well tomorrow I will go to my mechanic in hartford to let him see what's going on. Then we will see what we need. Anyone in Hartford or Norwich that can help me look at this motor?
