When driving my auto sr20de-t at around 5k I loose all my boost.
So when the trans downshifts its at 5k and my car is slow as heck. Then it shifts and starts to spool back up to 7psi. Until it reaches 5k or more. Is that normal for a t25 dual bb?

My 0-60 is faster if I short shift right before 5k. But its a pain to manually shift a auto right. And when the trans shifts by itself with the throttle down it wont shift until 6500rpm unless I hesitate on the throttle....which slows me down again.
Any tips to driving this thing? If I put a boost controller on it would it help?

do you have a boost gauge on the car? u lose all your boost at 5k. something is wrong. wastegate?

I could say wastegate of a leak

yeah I have a boost guage. its at 7psi then right past 5k it goes back to zero.

Could my bov be opening up?. Maybe I need to adjust it?

Intercooler leak, tighten all of your hose clamps and check for any torn/leaky hoses.
