Well today as I was attempting to drain the coolant out of my radiator, I discovered that the "cover" (plastic with philips head "star") for the coolant pulg/seal was stripped. I tried just about every tool imaginable to get it out so i could get to the plug, but nothing worked. Anyone have any ideas on getting it out or alternate ways to draining the radiator? Thanks in advance.

while turning the plug, assist w/ a very thin flathead screwdriver prying into the plug, outward towards you.

Just pull the lower radistor hose from the radiator. It sits at the same level. And you don't have to wait all day for the antifreeze to trickle out.
