Can I order a JWT ecu with BB program without sending in the core, and when I recieve that ecu, then can I send in the core??

Thanks

More than likely, you would pay the "core charge" upfront. Then when you resend the core ecu you will be refunded the core charge.

Considering how long they take, just buy an extra ecu. When you finally get your ecu back from jim just sell the extra one on the board. Give 'em a call and ask 'em what the core charge is, then run and raid your local junkyard for a core. :D

My buddy in Burlington found a G20 ecu (for his 200sx) for $140CDN. Try car parts online.

It's a great idea to have a spare.

BTW, do you ever see Frank Kumbera's NX2000 around your way? It's a red NX2000 with an Erebuni spoiler with the two huge lights, big rims with a red trim ring. Should be turboed now.

You should talk to him for turboing info.

Where is he located?? Guelph?? I think I've met some people who know him but I haven't met him personally.

Yes. They charge you $595 + 600 core charge. When you send a core ECU to them, they refund the 600 charge. This is what I did.

Frank lives in Kitchener. His car is stored winters, but it's out and around again.

Actually, I did too, for a while. Do you know the Victoria School Apartments? The converted school near the bus station downtown? It was a cool place.
