Okay here is the deal. I finaly decided to get off my ass and polish my valve cover. So I rip it off and no problems, until I look in the top of the cover to see shit. My question is can I "hot tank" it? Basicaly boil the thing in a large tank of water. I know this will take off paint, gunk, etc. The thing that concerns me is will it damage the windage tray seals? If so can I just use some hight temp. silicone? Will it "hurt" anything? Thanks for all the help, Tim
