I know this was a dumb idea so dont flame me for what i did....BUT....is there any way to get out of a dragracing ticket? The cop was facing the wrong way to see us but he had his laser detector on there were three of us and im not sure if he got all of us on the gun (something to look into) but is there anyway i can get around this? i dont wanna fucking loose my licence! HELP ME OUT!

Well if he saw you street racing and he is sure of it you are more than likely screwed. I find a damn good lawyer and try and find an angle. In Cali if you went to court and on busy days if the cop was late like 20min. or so the judge would dismiss the case because he/she had too many other cases to judge.

I fought a ticket that I had and decided to plead "not guilty". At that time they gave me another court date like a month later. The next time the district attorney lowered my ticket wanting me to plead "no contest" or "guilty". I still pleaded "not guilty". Then they scheduled another court date. At the next date they told me that if WE did not come to an agreement that it would be in front of a jury. Of course I got nervous about this. They still offered me a lower price and this time they lowered the points. I then pleaded "no contest" and paid my fine.

The court system is all bullshit.

yeah bro i would say that the only way to get out of that ticket would be to find a lawyer who specializes in traffic violations but its probably gonna set you back some

well i dont know how to help you with the ticket, but i can express my sympathy for you. Do you really lose your liscense for street racing? How much is the fine on top of that? How long do you lose your liscense for?

Everyone around here races on this 4 lane bridge in branson. They supposedly put up cameras and have been sending tickets in the mail to people they have caught speeding or racing there. I haven't seen any cameras but there are soo many places they could be hiding them. I dont know what i would do if i got caught doing that. Would it be legal for them to send tickets to people for street racing if it was only seen by a camera? Theres no way to tell who the driver is, so it doesn't seem like it would be. I'm sure they have ways around that though.

heres the deal i came up on him from the back side so i wonnder if he got all 3 of us on the radar gun something to look into if not theres my loophole cause how could he possibly know if one of us wasnt actually racing? ya know? also my other thought was to get the definition of "dragracing" and use that as that usually pertains to the dragstrip; how can he write something for a sanctoined event ;) any other ideas on this one for me? BTW im still gonna get a lawyer reguardless
