some time ago, and i cant for the life of me think where, i found a brace that fitted internally in the gearbox and replaced 5th gear, it basically linked the input and output shafts together, stopping them from forcing each other apart and splitting the case. It was for a fwd sentra box iirc.

i've tried to find it again but no luck.

does anyone know what im on about and have a link to it please ?
