I am going to put rear discs on my little E because the drums are going caca (I figure why not upgrade). As you may know there are no SE-Rs in Canada. If I go to the wreckers for some NX2k fronts should I grab the rears as well? I have the write up on swapping drums for discs but it refers to the SE-R discs and I don't know if there is a difference between the NX2k and SE-R rears. Kojimas "Brake Hop Ups" section also only refers to the swapping in SE-R rears. Can I just find a NX2k, grab the front AND rears, E-brake cable and master cylinder and go from there? My alternative is to just get the AD22VF from a wrecker and get SE-R rears from a forum member as this is likely to be the most common combo around here.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you also need the rear spindles to make the change.

I think pointy's right. Might as well grab the sway bars while you're at it lest you're gonna go get some from Progress.

Oh yea, swaybars. I forgot about that. Well that simplifies things, thanks.

you need the spindle, the ebrake cable, the rotors, the calipers, i found it easier to just cut the beams off and work on removing everrthing once you have it off the car....if youre goin to a wrecker they would probably torch them off for you...the lower bolt is a major PITA to get off im actually geting mine replaced by a shop they were frozen in there and actually snapped the head off ir the bolt!!.dont forget to get the master cylinder too...or you are gonna have mushy brakes!!!! ......i already have the fronts on ....and they are mushy but boy does it stop! ..bet of luck .....
