ok, its obvious that there is more and more people every day doing the det swap, no my question is does this mean that engine suppliers are going to start charging more and more for the motors or does this mean that it will start to get cheaper for the det?

I think it might actually go the other way. The DET will get more expensive as the demand will rise and the DE will stay the same price if not decrease.

so whatcha do is get a DE for dirt cheap when this happens and hook it up and turbo it!!! Take advantage of the supply and demand demographics!!! wooo hooo!!

good idea but i was thinking more along the lines of the det becoming cheaper because more people want them like how b 16 motors became cheaper, i dont think that theres a shortage of these engines or anythign right? but i dont want the det swap to become as common as a honda swap but i dont think that it will ever happen.

I'm sorry tell u guys , but in my girl lives in Japan , and nissan's with turbo's are almost no more! All turbo cars will be fased out in the next few years ,even the Sylvia , and GT-R! I can send anyone who doesn't believe me the good bye GT-R article , from the Tokyo news paper. She told me that all the funny letters talk about the other cars.
