This summer i was looking into either doing a Bluebird swap or a custom turbo setup in my 96 SE. My questions are about the turbo setup...

I was going to get a T28 turbo with a greddy intercooler and BOV, and i wasnt sure what else i would need to run that to my engine. I can have the piping done and all that i just need to know what would be a better choice..the custom turbo and buy a kit from hotshot?

If I were to make a trubo setup, I would get a GTi-R manifold with a T28 turbo. Frount mount is defenitely the way to go, but anything GReddy will be big bucks. If I were you, I'd talk to Andreas Miko, he can hook you up with pretty much anything you want, from odds and ends to complete turbo setups.

I am looking into doing the same thing, i am first looking through the archives on this board under the turbo section and i am asking for help with all the things i would need.

Will the gti-r manifold fit a USDM 20de, i thought i heard it won't
also you will need to have oil and water lines going to and from the turbo.
injectors, plumbing, intercooler, ecu

there is more but i haven't gotten that far yet

I was talking to Jacen yesterday (bought agx's off of him) and Louis you come highly recommened by him.
Also would you recommend swain coating the manifold and turbo?
Can i upgrade the turbo and keep the manifold.
