Allright i've seen this in a few places, mostly in FAQs (like se-r.net) and assorted archives.
Supposedly, the most potent intake for N/A sr20s is the CAI and a POP Charger combo. So is the POP more than just a MAF adaptor. I've seen the manufacturer propoganda on the POP and the K&N PIFK(?), is there really something to the 'velocity stack'. If so where does it mount w/ a CAI. Before the MAF or right after the air filter?
Whadda ya'll think.
TIA.

Yes, the venturi in the POP Charger smooths the airflow through the MAF. Without it, there is turbulence in the MAF and it screws up your mixture.
I don't think you need a POP Charger on a CAI. Supposedly (from a reliable source) the airflow smooths out enough with the CAI that you don't need to attach a POP to it.

Thanx Geo,
Unfortunately i only have half of my PlaceRace installed. Basically running a WAI. I may actually be running another downgrade (like my carX mufflr, -5hp at least =P). I have been enjoying the sound though. Interesting thing, i did notice the stack inside the stock air-box. I could not splice it into the WAI.
With flood warnings for tommorow i prolly wont finish it this evening. =P
BTW, what is yer intake set up on the Sentra (for the archives here ya know).
And how's the Porsche? Last i visited yer site only the purchase was had been detailed.
Paul
PS No FSM yet. I keep on getting lucky and not having to go perform open heart surgery. I promise to get one if i do cams.

If you mean "potent" as in power making, the AEM CAI is currently the best.
