Just a thought. I have been to 2 drag events at dinwittie. The first was an import event where i got 3 runs in. Then i went tonight and got 6 runs in by 8:30 (not an import event). I dont know it was just dumb luck or what but it seemed like the non-import night was a lot less crowded. Byt the way... 15.284@90.75 and a 2.362 60' was my best.

I hope to not be to far behind you in the 1/4 mile times. Way to go. Later.

Alright Nathan, thats pretty good. Were you consistent w/your 60' times. When is the next time you are going out. I "might" take mine again 1 last time before pulling off the manifolds for test fitting the turbo stuff.

I think we was consistant on the 60' times. I know he was though on the 1/4 mile times. They ranged from 15.2-15.3 all night long except for one run. BTW Chris, are you going to have any "cool stuff" laying around after the turbo install?:D Just wondering!

Yeah, if you consider HS 1st gen (cracked between 1&4) headers, stock exh., homemade CAI, 4yr old tokicos w/prokit-cool. They'll be laying around alright. I'm recycling the S3s and reprog. my JWT ecu. Everything on my car is at least 3 1/2yrs old. I've been dreaming about turboing since 98-almost there:D

Nathan, yeah it was really crowded that 1st night due to it being the 1st Import Rave for the season and the track just opened in mid march. Saturday test and tune- at least 10 runs maybe more is the time to go if you want to practice.

Yeah, you should run once more... it was a lot of fun to get out again. My times were pretty consistant. I ran 15.2xx once, 15.3xx 3 times, 15.4xx once, and i had a 15.7 where i tried to launch too high. 60' times were mostly 2.4xx with a 2.7 and 2.3(my good run). Trap speeds were all between 90-91mph. I had to shift to 4th unfortunately. I hit my fuel cutoff right before the lights the one time i tried to ride out 3rd gear.

Nathan,
your car is pretty quick considering the mods you have. Let me know, like a week or 2 in advance and I'll follow you up to VMP again.

Ill let you know next time I go for sure. This week was a last minute thing, i found out at about 1pm on friday that my friend was going that night. I want to get stiletto up there too and see what that se-L can run. I still want to get 14's but i doubt that practice will take off another .28 seconds since my trap speed is so consistent around 90.5 - 91mph. Im very frustrated.

Cool the more the merrier! And yes practice will help your times, the more you go everything from launching to shifting will be second-nature-your times will reflect this. Its the truth.
