Any questions?

Projnx2000 04-27-2002, 10:24 PM 1. On the front part of the bar, is there some sort of pivot to allow up and down movement of the control arm?
2. Ever put the car on an Alignment rack, W/the bar installed, affect any specs(caster) when adjusting(probably very little or not at all??)
3. Did it help w/wheelhop?
Jackson Diamond 04-27-2002, 10:32 PM I rode in this car with the traction bars, Wheel hop does not exist!! Its awsome:cool:
Thomas Reynolds 04-27-2002, 11:25 PM Yes Bigboost please explain how these work... I am very interested.
Thanks
And thanks for being innovative again!

NX$paniard 04-28-2002, 01:31 AM By the way.. what'll this guy come up with next???
BORNGEARHEAD 04-28-2002, 01:44 AM Where do I place my order?:D
brian 04-28-2002, 04:41 AM check is in the mail :)
Big Boost 04-28-2002, 07:33 AM The traction bars work excellent. They are adjustable by simply turning them forward or rearward. There are adjustable tie rod arms on the front and rear of the arms that pivot with the control arm. Right now, they are adjusted forward to reduce deflection when I launch on slicks. There is a trick to adjust them both in the air and on the ground to prevent binding. It is a major pain in the ass to do, but the reward is a smooth, solid feeling ride. In the corners they are amazing. Turn in is very smooth. I also have the full ES bushing kit up front.
When I last raced the car at the track, my 60 foot times went from 2.169 down to 1.87 seconds.
The TB's are not for sale at this point. Some changes will be made for easier installation and adjustments. I'll let you guys know when they will be available!
"By the way.. what'll this guy come up with next???"
Just wait........:D

any chance that we could do something like this for the b15's?
Shoes59 04-28-2002, 04:18 PM From the looks of the scuff marks on the bar it appears you may have some issues with tire rub while turning. Nice idea nevertheless.
sleeping 91ser 04-28-2002, 04:34 PM good job rob, i would definately be interested in tb one day whenever you mass produce them, keep up the good work.
Sean
Big Boost 04-28-2002, 04:56 PM The scuff marks occured due to the slicks. The Nitto Drag Radials don't touch at all! I think that if I used wider spacers, this wouldn't be an issue. As soon as they are available for mass production, I'll let everyone know ASAP.
98sr20ve 04-28-2002, 05:31 PM How was the ride quality affected by the bars.
Steve
Big Boost 04-28-2002, 05:44 PM It definately rides more firm, but isn't uncomfortable. In my opinion, it really aids roadholding. Again, turn in is excellent. When I go over bumps, the car feels a great deal more solid.
Its311Pete 04-28-2002, 09:54 PM WOW!!!!! keep us updated!
I would love to be able to drop the clutch on the line and not have to worry about wheel hop.
Big Boost 04-29-2002, 10:00 AM I don't have access to a B15 platform, but when I do I'll take a good look at it and see what can be done.
Rob
Calum 04-29-2002, 04:06 PM Quick question, does it bolt to stock locations, or do you have to drill holes for it?
NX$paniard 04-29-2002, 04:09 PM it looks like he just replaced that front tow ring looking thing.. so thats just a bolt on.. but I am curious to know how he got that bracket linked to the control arm.. weld?? i cant even imagine...
