For NXers going turbo..

I hate to go against Joel and Sub.. (elimination kit).. but for those who want to keep the pwr steering and have a fmic..we gotta get rid of the line type cooler!

some suggest using an SE-r finned cooler..but thats too small!
it would decrease system capacity!

so i did some measuring.. went to the parts store and got a hayden #401 tranny cooler... its like 5 x 11.5 x .75 it came with everything needed for install for about 30 bones..

not only did I increrase system capacity by a little..but I'm sure it stays a little cooler than before to say the least bit..

I know have room to mount an FMAX intercooler.. wooo hoo..

I'll work on it... i think it looks pretty cool.. but i have to move into the 20th century and get a digi cam... i dont even own dvd's yet...

I already have a front mount intercooler on my nx2000. The i/c is out of mitsu. starion. I just moved the coolling line up, so that it makes a 45 degree angle. I had to trim my "front spoiler" of 1,5", but other than that all is back on the track (even the fog lights!).

My swap is finished and I'm going to show you pictures of it all.

sounds good man!! i just didnt like how those lines looked, personally, i live near water and high humidity so they were a little on the corroded side.. i think the oil cooler probly keeps it cooler than just a line so...all in all it worked out for me.. but i suppose there are other ways... this was just most convenient and efficient 4 me!! pictures should be coming soon (im a procrastinator)
