I installed a Nismo FPR today, and set it to 43.5psi w/o vac, and 36psi with vac. Cruising down the road, my EGT temps are much lower than they were before. Usually cruising down the road at around 40-50mph with no load the egt temps were around 1100*F or so with the stock fpr, but now they are at 900*F. That's a good thing. Can someone explain why the temps would be lower, considering I set the fpr to stock 3bar settings? (I always like knowing why things happen the way they do. :))

Also, after hard acceleration, the egt temps drop much faster than they did before.

I have Walbro 255 & 38lb/hr injectors

my guess is it's getting a lil more fuel (correctly) and cooling the egt's down a lil.

the nismo should react quicker and more exact i would think.
