I just bought four Audiobahn 6 1/2 for my 200sx. i put the front two in with not problem, but i cant figure out how to even get to the back speakers in the rear deck....... do i do it from the trunk or from the back seat?

HELP, my two back speakers are blown and i need to replace them ASAP.

Pull the rear seat. Remove the third brake light plate that is on the back deck, 2 screws from the trunk side. Take and unscrew or pull those big plastic screw things that are on the top of the back deck. Then take the back deck and pop it up. There are just push ins holding it in place. Then there are 4 screws for each speaker under that.

i could on get 2 screws to line up on mine but yours may be different. make sure you get more than one cause they will vibrate like hell

yeah , lots of luck doing that speaker install, I had to take the side wall pods out of the back, and took front seats out to, it gives you more room to work with. Well it is worth it, factory speakers suck!!!!!!

If you can't get enough screws to bite into something, you could squeeze a dab of silicone onto the backsided of the basket so that when you tighten down what screws you have, there will be some rubber to keep it from vibrating. I would be careful though using less screws than you're supposed to because you'll likely warp the basket and it could ruin the speaker or simply make it perfrom poorly.

if comes off. Just get a hammer and under you truck there should be some little big white looking screws. Just hit them to knock them up and it will come right off.

I was able to pull my back deck out. When you have it popped up just push it to one side and give it a little bend in the middle. You shouldn't have to take out your plastic trim on the sides. I found to take out the screws closest to the glass use those little 90 degree screwdrivers. They work good. Good luck.
