These look very sharp and even have the SE-R badge on them.
Do any of you people know if they will fit on the B&M aftermarket short throw shifters for our Classics?

Don't they also show 6 gears?

Hah yeah, it has all 6 gears on it. Might suck for someone unfamiliar with your car driving it. Might think your B13 or B14 has a 6th gear and shift from 5th to reverse

I think people discussed trying to get the new base SE-R knob, as it comes with the 5spd
Good point about the 6sp markings. I was in a hurry and did not notice. I need to get down and peep out a SE-R knob.

yes, but the se-r knob is just leather-wrapped, not anything special like the spec-v knob

I just bought a spec-v knob and it doesn't seem to fit?
Any ideas?
it's because you have a 6speed knob going a 5speed car... the threads are different for a 6spd vs a 5spd...
and the car is rejecting the ricey SE-R badge from the Spec-V...

Do you have the stock shifter or aftermaket short shifter?
My Spec-V knob fit fine in my Classic with a Stillen s/s.

I have a pacesetter short throw shifter. The knob seems way too tight afetr 1/2 turn so I backed off and put it back in the box!

The Spec-v knob fit fine on my stock shifter, it was a little tight at first, but then it was fine.
