hello Canadians,
i need some help. i have a US B13 (94) 4 door sentra w/ SR20. i just put in my new SE-R seats and wanted to go with some pillar mounted seatbelts, so that i can use my nx console that has been sitting in my house for a year, and get rid of my automatic belts. I tried the mexican belts and nothing lines up. I was wondering if some one can do me a favor and take some pics of their 4 door B13 B- Pillar and seatbelt assembly. where/ how they mount with reel, mounting bolts, etc. closeups would be cool also. so i can see if the Canadian belts will work.

Hum... I honestly don't know about the 4-door B13's, but the 2-door B13's don't have Bpillar mounted belts. The belts are actually mounted to the door, so you would need a door from a US-spec B13. If I am wrong, maybe someone will see this and correct me and you will get the info you need.

do you drive a Canadian b13?
the Canadian b13s seatbelts are different than ours in the U.S., because of laws. they dont have automatic belts(like ours) on the 4 doors and i dont even think they have door mounted ones on the 2 doors ( Can anyone confirm this?), i think that they are both pillar mounted, from what i understand. btw, a 2 door has longer doors than a 4 door so just swapping a door is not an option and i hate the door mounted ones anyways, i thought my automatics were an inconvience. i dont know what the hell the nissan engineers were thinking on the whole seatbelt thing.

so this is why i am posting this in the Canadian area. can anyone help me out w/ some pics, or is anyone selling a set?

You are correct that the Canadian B13's had pillar mounted seat belts. One of reasons that you can't import an SE-R into Canada is due to the door mounted seat belts.

All the B13's in Canada came with the GA16 motor so not too many people would be hanging out on this forum...only those that were smart enough to do an SR20 swap. :)

I remember seeing some 4 doors at the junkyard last time, I was there. If the weather is nice, I'll go there and take some pics for you, but it might not be for a week or so.
