well i thought id post a updated pic of the NX, i painted my stock wheels black. i dont have my 17" wheels any more since last week i destroyed one, i hit a rock or a pothole, some thing like that i didnt see it. i was dark and i was going varry fast. this pic i had to lighten up a bit so it looks a little off on the color.

To bad about the rims man...I love that look. I would get another set of gunmetals or something..that ride is ment to have dark rims to complement the side moldings.

hey nick:
too bad about those rims. I got my ES master set, and let me tell yo the rear is a bitch to install, haven't even attempted to front yet. You will need a compressor and an impact gun for sure. good luck

Just the way it should be.The stocks are even lighter than your 17's =better 0-60 times.where did you get the wheels painted?how much.Lookin for a shop that will power coat em for me. good job man.
Thanks :D
i just painted them my self, with plastic kote t2 flat black, just took my time doing it, allot of light coats and sanding between coats with 00 steal wool.
yeah i imagine those bushings are going to be fun to get in, all i have done is just my sway bars so far and they helped allot so i cant wait till i have the rest done.

wow, that looks just like jerome's car from the forum, well i mean the car that he used to own. he sold it not too long ago. he had a 91 with the stock wheels painted black and the same grey trimming going around the whole car.

Yea, that was my car. The rims were starting to get a little rough from the salt, winter weather, etc., so about 2-3 years ago I did a Odd Lots special and picked up 2 cans of flat black all purpose paint for $.89 each and went to town. They held up decently. Had to touch them up a little before I sold the car to Jerome.
The grey trim was oem standard and stock for that year on all of the NX2000's.
It was almost like deja vu when I read this post and looked at the picture.
