are you lookin' to go all natural? personally, i'd add a T to the SR20DE! also, i don't really like the z3 fenders or the predator hood. perhaps a carbon fiber hood, and a good urethane kit. rims are a personal choice, nobody can tell you what looks best. also don't forget the short shifter, brake upgrade and better tires.

give me the car, buy yourself a honduh and add rice!!!

With 15k I would do like the rest says, either invest into a DET or a nitrous setup. You can build a nice car with 15k to spend; everything included.

15k is fairly enough to turn your car into a beast. I would suggest a DET conversion, upgrade it to t28, build your suspesion, a good set of tires, etc etc etc. Spend your shit wisely.

Or you could just buy my car, and be done with it.. :D

I think part of doing it is building the car. IMHO, I would never buy a car already finished. But then again you don't get the headaches if the car is already tweaked; its a give and take.

bb det w/ fmax kit and other goods for it.. 5000
suspension: 800-2000
wheels: varies
some racing seats: 1500
if ur into body kits n stuff: 1000
paint: 2000

and youve basically got a show car that runs 11-12's
that would be what i would do
and you have money left over

If i were you and had 15,000, I'd call Nathan Weaber at Import Motor Sports (F-max) His 500whp 20sx SER just got finished with a f-max t66 HiFi and about 8g's of other engine stuff. The car is SCARY fast and can handle up t @$#%30lbs of boost!!!!!!!! He knows his shit and will help you decide what you should and should not do considering what type of driving you do. He also has had every bolt-on mod on his car at least once and is on his second turbo setup.

Where can one find a DET motor? I have been searching for them for awhile. Would adding an HS or T28 turbo be basically the same as getting the engine swap?

For 15g, you could sell your car, which brings you up to say at least 20g's.... with that you could buy a 92ish 240sx, drop in a DET, add a bigger turbo, FMIC, get a 2g susension package (talkin coilovers with pillowball mounts), BIG brakes, wheels and tires(wider ones to handle the power), and still have some money left over for a decent sound system. So... you'd end up with a really fast, great handling, great stoping, auto-x/racetrack ready fun, RWD!!!! car.

That's kinda what I'm thinking about in 3 years... except I'd go for the s14 body style... either that or a new car... oh well, no need to think about it now!
