My clutch is going out and I have no plans to mod this car, but I was wondering if there is anything worth doing concerning my clutch replacement other than a straight across stock replacement. Thanks.

ACT modified stock disc. Nice simple upgrade that will hold up to all bolt on's (and i hope turbo too!) and won't give hard engagement.

I just put a cheap one in, $89 for the disk, pp and throw out bearing. I won't be doing any mods to this car anyways. Only took me 10 hours to do. :) I started at 4pm and got done at 2am. Everything went smoothly, no real hangups except the pin on the backside of the engine didn't want to seperate from the bell housing on the tranny. I put synthetic tranny grease in and used synthetic grease on the throwout bearing. I noticed immediately how much less clutch pressure I have now! It's got to be easily 1/5th the pressure I used to have, the gas pedal has more pressure than the clutch! I wonder how much money I saved by doing this myself?

Most people charge about 4-6 hours labor on a clutch.
