I have a similar dilemma. Whoever owned the car before didn't have the stock foglights. Coulda fooled me, he used a stock switch and everything. But, when you inspect closely under the hood, you could see some amateur wiring.

One of the bulbs blows out every couple months. The fog lights that are there now are knockoffs of the original fog lamps, but they are Blazers. WalMart specials, I assume.

I don't wanna take them off, because my headlights suck giant monkey balls, so the foglights make up for what the headlights lack. I don't know if you are having the same problem. I've tried a variety of different headlamp bulbs, with little luck.

Maybe there's a leak in the foglight housing, and I can just go ahead and seal it up. In your case, replace the lens.

Our other option is to buy the $100 stock replacements from Courtesy. Hmm............nah.

I say you replace your lens, and I'll reseal my housing :)

I personally would keep them on. When I bought my se-r both the fog lights were busted up. I think the se-rs have they're own style and the fog lights are part of it. That's probably why I still run the stock wheels. I think $100 for them is kinda high. I don't think I paid more than $60 for both of mine from the dealer. When I ordered them I thought I was just getting just the lenses but I got the whole works. I look at them now and know I made the right decision.

Just my own queer little story.

the replacement lenses are very reasonably priced from your Nissan dealer, it will come as a whole unit w/ the casing and reflective backing. installation is a breeze. if you remove the 2 clips that are holding the oem foglamps into the metal casing, that whole piece is what you will be getting.

well worth the money imho.

Yep. I had to get 2 new ones because they both were cracked and it was causing the bulbs to burn out prematurely. I paid $35 each for a replacement lens and casing at the dealer.

Can any of you verify that this is the part number and the exact part you got?

You can get these fairly cheap and not over $100 bucks. This was the first thing I ordered for my car when I got it. Order from Mossy Nissan.
