How much do you guys pay per 6 months? I just got in an accident so I have to pay total around $1600. I'm really pissed because I'm only in 11th grade and now thats 272.00/month that I can't spend on myself or my SE-R. Just curious on your rates. Also give me some background information if you could, like age, tickets, accidents. I'm just really curious. I think its funny I could lease a lexus for the amount I pay for fucking insurance. Oh god I'm getting pissed already can you tell?

I'm in NJ, and luckily my family is blessed with decent rates. Total for all 5 of our cars is around 3400. All with collision and liability. That is about 280/month for 5 cars (Lexus SC300, Accord, Golf, NX2K, SE-R). Plus, on top of that, provided we get no tickets or are not at fault for an accident, we get back 10% of what we pay.

We have 2 drivers under 25 (me, 20 and my bro, 17) and my parents. No accidents or tickets in at least the past 10 years. Knock on wood!

Don't feel bad...i have a friend who is in worse straits than you! He has had accidents with at least 5 cars of his own, and is currently on his 8th or 9th car...I think. I lost count after the 4th :p. After a bunch of tickets too, he was hit with a $500 per month insurance charge! :eek: He's only 21! But, after a year of clean driving they are rapidly falling.

That sounds way too much. I have full coverage, married, no accidents or tickets for over a decade, and I live in a state that has possibly the highest cost of living in the US. But I pay under $700/year for my classic. I think you may have to shop around for better insurance.

When I was 16, I got in two accidents in one day. :eek: Both my fault too. Yeah, you heard me right. My insurance company dropped me immediately. Then, about a year later, I got two speeding tickets within a few weeks of each other. I was dropped again. For a while, I had to get insurance through the state of Wisconsin. The most I've ever paid was $250 a month. I haven't had a ticket since. Now, I'm 23 years old and I'm paying $100 a month.

Wanna talk about ass rape? My G20 cost me about $400 a month to insure... now do you know why I sold it? I loved the car but shit...... (I wish I would have taped to call to progressive after I bought the car, my agent qouted me WAY off (250 a month) and I went to town on some people's ass)

I'm about to turn 21, no accidents ever, no tickets, no claims... (cept hail but that was just recent). Right now I'm at a hair over $100 a month for my NX with no collision on it but everything else....

As soon I buy my house my new insurance takes over, I'm paying $250 a month for my NX and my fiancee's new Protege5, its a little high still because we aren't married yet and because she has two tickets!.

Full coverage on my SE-R and minimal on the Talon.

$800 per year. 24/ married as well.

~$680 a year for liability insurance. 26, NJ, 2 speeding tickets but both out of state so no points. still under my parents' policy since that seems the most economical. i believe the other two cars under the policy '00 3.2 TL and '02 330i are $1500 and $2000 respectively, both with collision and $1K deductibles.

92 SE-R, $90 a month.

120 with 500 dollar dec. no speeding tickets. (be smart when speeding) no wrecks that were my fault. Good grades.

my deductible is low. (250) we get plenty of hail in the spring in texas. we got some last night as a matter fo fact. I plan on claiming. but i do think you are right about it being a bit too much. i have been shopping around for a couple of weeks.

Sheesh... I pay 95.00 a month with 50-100-300 lease coverage with a 250.00 deductable. Only reason I have lease coverage is for my other vehicle I lease and am required to have it. Single, 27, and Live in FL.

I pay $165 a month, so I pay $990 every six months. I am 16, I've had 1 speeding ticket and some other things ;) but I don't have any points on my license anymore. So my insurance never went up. I have full coverage from Allstate BTW.

I pay about 950 a year with my SE (dont have SE-R yet) but, hmm haha, my mom is in the insurance business, so im thinkin that helps....

Just got my renewal form and mine is going down $20/mo to $130. I am pretty happy.
