I was gonna buy the car and even talked to the guy but I don't need 3 cars I guess. Guy says interior is perfect. Has normal dings on door, no rust.

Do you have better pictures of the car like door jams and the bottom of the car pictures and better pictures that you can see because the one on craigslist are not that clear to see. well if you read his post it says that he was going to buy this car but didn't. he isn't the one selling the car so he wont have better pics.

its worth 1000-1500 as a rolling shell IMHO.

I don't know... I have a 91 with 287k on it with no 5th gear pop and still running strong all original, only thing changed was the clutch. 187k??? just a little past the break in period. It's a pretty clean looking ride... I would offer around $1300 for it.
