Does anyone know the part numbers for the valve cover gasket and the spark plug gaskets? I am getting different part numbers for each in the se-r list archives. This is for a 97 if that makes a difference? Thanks!

I happen to have a brand new set sitting right here in front of me:

Valve Cover Gasket: 13270-53J05
Spark Plug Gaskets: 13271-53J02
Oil Seal: 38342-8E002

I ordered these for my '93 SE-R. I'd imagine they would fit on any SR20DE motor. I may be wrong though. I'm sure someone else will reply with a definite answer.

Cool thanks. I've found a few other posts on the list with those same part numbers. I was just confused on a post from someone with a 97 se-r who posted these numbers:

Spark Plug Well/Center Bolt Gasket 13271-2J200
Rocker Cover Gasket 13270-2J201

Now I can go back to the stealership and set those idiots straight. They tried telling me that the sr20 didnt have spark plug well gaskets, "only the altima" had them. Thanks again!

So what is the story on this -- if I'm re-doing the v/c gasket on a 93 SE-R, I need to get the 1 spark plug well gasket for all four in addition to the main v/c gasket (13270-53J05)? What about the rocker gasket?

what about the rubber washer type gaskets that go under each nut... i need those btw...

Rocker cover/valve cover gasket is the same thing. That and the 4 spark plug tube gaskets is all you need. Oh, and some silicone gasket maker for the halfmoons and gasket corners.

I don't have the part #s with me, but I just wanted you to be ready for the price they are going to throw you for the nuts and plastic bumper washers. I think the total bill was well over $50 or near it when I replaced all of mine. It was insane.

An SR20 driver and his money are easily parted....
